The mystic Visham Gunjeeban announced that the world ended on September 6th of this year, but that most people were too busy to notice. "It's a sad comment on our way of life that people are so caught up with their jobs and television that they wouldn't notice as significant event as this," the mystic said. Wow. On September 6th, at 7:45 pm I was sitting in my livng room watching John Edwards the psycic and all of a sudden I felt billions of voices cry out in terror, and were suddenly silenced. It must have been all the aliens dying.
The nearest star is 4 light years away. That means it will be about 4 years before we have proof that the universe has ended. Stars will gradually start disappearing, or exploding, depending on what kind of apocalypse has beset us.
