That's insane. I read this study that showed that 17% of propane or natural gas furnaces don't work right, and produce trace amounts of carbon monoxide. Although that's not enough to kill a person, the scientists who did the study hypothosize that it's causing the high levels of mental retardation we're seeing in young children.
My dad used to work as a hostage negotiator, and one time he was trying to get these hostages out of house, but the dude had locked everybody in. My dad went to the door and looked under the mat, where he found the key.
