Apple Owner Manuals

In California, it is now illegal to sell apples in grocery stores and fruit stands without an instruction manual that describes how to eat an apple, and that informs the consumer of the risk of swallowing an apple without chewing it. The manuals must be printed in English, Spanish and Korean.

I heard that this was actually just an accidental result of a law they passed to help protect people from their iPods.

I heard it's because a teacher upstate tried to swallow one whole and choked to death. They found him keeled over on his desk after lunch, his face was blue and he wet his pants.
